The Rutherford County Home Builders Association (RCHBA) is a non profit organization of building industry professionals located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Association members work together to promote high standards, education, and housing opportunities in the community.[1]
RCHBA is one of 18 chapters of the The Home Builders Association of Tennessee (HBAT), a non profit trade association comprising professional builders, developers, and associated firms engaged directly or indirectly in home building, remodeling, and light commercial construction.
In addition, RCHBA is a chapter of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a Washington, D.C. based trade association whose mission is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry. Chief among NAHB's goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing.[2]
Certified Professional Builders is a program for builders and remodelers seeking continuing education and who are committed to achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction. These builders have proven experience and exemplary track records, each Certified Professional Builder (CPB) and Remodeler (CPR) has met a rigorous application process, including reference and credit checks, personal interview process, financial analysis, and supplier review.[3]
Home Builders Care of Rutherford County (HBC) is a non-profit charitable foundation of the Rutherford County Home Builders Association. HBC is the official sponsor of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program in Rutherford County, serving nearly 2,000 needy children annually, since 2004. HBC is committed to improving educational opportunities for Rutherford County youth to pursue home building industry careers.[4]
